I'm a 40-something creative person with a degree in Latin American Studies with a concentration in Ethnomusicology. Which is why I'm now a Territory Manager for a software manufacturer. I'm married to another creative person, a drummer, through whom I can live out my musical side vicariously. Well, sort of. We also have a 5 year old girl who kind of ruined my social life. But I'm not complaining! We have a pretty sweet life, the three of us. And our five cats and a parakeet. Yeah, pretty sweet.
This blog chronicles our experience doing the "Clean" elimination/detox program, based on the book Clean by Alejandro Junger. I hope to help anyone who is contemplating this program with the things that I've learned along the way, including pictures of most of the recipes featured in the book. It SEEMS daunting, but it's really not that hard! The hardest part is making the commitment. And making a grocery list. And then shopping for said groceries...but really! It's not that bad!
